The price
$8.99 USD — down from $9.99, a 10% discount still showing on the Steam store page as of this page's verification date.
⚠️ Launch discounts end. If the number above does not match what Steam is showing you, the promotion has finished and the price is back to $9.99. The store page is always the authority; we re-check this page rather than guess at an end date, because none has been published.
One edition, no DLC
The store page lists a single edition. There is no deluxe version, no season pass, and no downloadable content at the time of writing.
What the $8.99 includes:
| Modes | Single-player and Online Co-op |
| Languages | 11, with English carrying full audio |
| Controller | Full controller support |
| Family Sharing | Listed as supported |
| Platform | Windows only — see platforms |
Everyone needs their own copy
Every player needs their own copy. This is developer-stated, in the pinned Launch FAQ:
"Each player needs their own copy of the game."
Steam listing Family Sharing as a supported feature is what made this look ambiguous. It does not change the answer: shared library titles cannot be played by two accounts at the same time, which is exactly what co-op requires.
This is covered further on how many players.
Is it a lot for what it is?
That is a judgement call, so here are the facts people usually weigh instead:
- Released 7 August 2026 by a two-person team (their own description in the roadmap post)
- 88% positive from 1,219 reviews at the time we checked the store page
- Seven patches in the first five days, and a published roadmap with content updates planned for September and October
For price context against similar games, the honest answer is that we have not surveyed the genre systematically, so we are not going to imply we have.
Regional pricing
The $8.99 / $9.99 figures are US dollars. Steam sets regional prices separately and we have not collected them — open the store page in your own region for the number that applies to you.
What is not confirmed
- When the launch discount ends. No end date is published
- Whether paid DLC is planned. The roadmap describes content updates but says nothing about whether any of it is paid
- Regional prices outside the US
